Photo 2 of 2 from Spherical Projection

The continents are only outlined at this stage of development. The plate tectonics are finished and represent a path to the height maps for the continents and ocean floors. I painted the map in Photoshop and used G.Projector from NASA to turn an equirectangular projection into an orthographic projection.
Plate Interactions: Red double diamond is convergent continental-continental boundaries (think Himalayas); Red single diamond is convergent oceanic-continental boundary (think Peru); Yellow are transform boundaries that slip past each other (on land think San Andreas). Green is divergent oceanic-oceanic boundaries (think mid-ocean trenches). Green with black hatches are undersea rifts. Blue are convergent oceanic-oceanic boundaries that lead to island formation (the older plate goes under the newer plate and raises mountains in the newer plate).

The yellow stars represent spots the planet was blasted by an older set of gods, this great Sriking bisects history into periods Before and After the Light. Great damage was done to the continents, and new plate boundaries emerged in the aftermath.

I started the continent outlines 20 years ago, and finally picked up the craft again. I am considering putting the map into Gplates, and letting time run. Only Aurilla, the NW continet, has final edge detail, as that is the continent we run game on at the moment.
