March/April 2018 Lite Challenge : Map Guild World
Congrats to Nopkin for winning the Lite Challenge with map 'The Fantastic Island of Guildia'. Nopkin wins a first silver compass, and I'm sure there will be more to come!

April/May 2018 Lite Challenge : Create a bookcover
Our newest Lite Challenge is up and running, and we've combined a couple of ideas for this one. Bogie writes...
I want you to create a Bookcover. I want it to show a map using the shape I will include at the bottom of this post [see the shape here]. Now for Straf's idea: All the names on the map AND every name shown on the bookcover have to be names of famous musicians or music bands.
If you've questions, ask them in the intro thread. Thanks to Straf for the suggestion of using band names!
April 2018 Challenge : Map a Realm
You've got about a week remaining before April's challenge ends, and we've got some fantastic maps already. Have a browse through the current entries in the main challenge folder.
Challenge Suggestions
A new challenge suggestion from MapMappingMapped : Map a story.
In short:
You map it.
You write it.
With every WIP picture, some more story. And so on and on.
I'm sure we won't expect anyone to write a full novel but a short, well-fleshed out story - and the map to accompany it. Now I can say at once that most, if not all of us here are fantasy readers. Another group of us are writers.
I do think that a month would be a bit harsh for such a challenge, but, come on, we don't want the next bestsellers.
