The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.
Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.

Fair enough. You're just usually so super active, not having you comment on every map I post feels strange... Plenty of people could be gone for months and I probably wouldn't even notice, but you are a different story! Best of luck to getting that new machine!
Hey Kelleri I'm around and about at odd times now and then. Been very very busy just lately. And I need to be. Its the only way to make enough to get a new machine. This one doesn't work at all now on any of my old GIMP maps. I have 1.5GB available memory to use, and that's it - all there is left once the OS is up and running. I will be back eventually, though. I'm half way to my target on the funding front already, and that's despite only getting to have 20% of everything I earn
