The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.
Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.

Many thanks. My idea is to use it as a wargaming campaign map amongst my friends only, and no plans for any commercial use at all. For example: it might rest in a Dropbox Folder with invited-only access for just those players to use. And I'd be more than happy to include a proper accreditation to you as well, if you want to send me some contact details or a link
As long as it is only for personal use and you don't distribute/claim it as your own or whatever, yeah, go ahead and use the map. Since that is map of my personal world-building project I won't be selling the rights to it, and most likely never will, but like said, personal use is fine
It just looked so different to me, that I was lost for several minutes thinking how could I use it in what particular gaming genre or project. Am I OK to 'save image' the map and keep it for my personal use for the future? Would I need to pay you any funds to do so?
