The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.
Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.

hey, I would first like to say sorry. Things have just been hectic for me, I moved and my computer broke during the move, then after i got a new computer I found out that my internet wasn't working in this new location so that was a whole new set of issues. Next I would like to say that you. The map you did for that unpaid map request of the necropolis is quite possibly the most beautiful, epic, amazing piece of artwork I've ever seen. I have spent the past 30 min looking and enjoying this piece of art and have yet to see how you managed to make something to impressive from what I gave you. Thank you once again, just, thank you. And again I'm sorry I did not respond to you sooner.
