The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.
Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.

Thanks for the rep CP It was fun to work on this one. She's only 2, or 3, this year so she likely won't be able to appreciate it yet. But hopefully it will be a good memory/keepsake for her. I love being part of something like that.

No, the site is mostly a portfolio hosting site - they have their own interface. As I know less than crap about code, I decided to use a site where most of what I was doing was just designing the look and layout. Perhaps in another lifetime I'll learn more and do a proper site but not soon.
No, I don't think I have ever looked at your DA site. Clearly I'm missing out! Yeah, Google Analytics is probably the go-to standard for tracking your visitors, though your web host may well have something running too. Are you using cPanel per chance? There are usually a few different stats options in there.
Thank you I take it you've not been over to my DA page. I am loving fiddling with that website. With the exception of their weird text formatting I need to get Coogle Analytics going so I can see if much of anyone has even stopped in there. That's a nice thing about CG, DA, Facebook and all these other places - you can see some sort of view count.
Happy new web site! It's looking really good. I hadn't seen some of the architectural pics before. They're stunning!! The iconic stuff is pretty cool too.
