The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.
Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.

You're right. There IS a disclaimer. I guess I just got so exited about voting in the last Challenge, that I completely forgot to read all the instructions!!! LOL
Ah well, I suppose the good point of failing to read all the instructions properly is that everyone I did vote for now knows that I voted for them with complete sincerity
Chuckle! It is always interesting learning the little ins & outs of how a new website functions. I believe there is a disclaimer stating that your votes are visible to others. Once you vote that text vanishes.
Yikes! I didn't realise the voting was transparent like that! You're welcome Bogie - your map is beautifully detailed and has a lovely composition. I particularly like the girls shown in faded photo style. Nice touch... but now I'm thinking of all the friends I might just have upset by failing to recognise the sheer amount of very hard work they put into their maps. Oops
