The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.
Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.

I think it was deserved! I know what you mean, I've wanted to do a map to celebrate for agaes too, but I just don't have the time (she said, typing this message from the office where she was, in fact, supposed to be working). They should give us a two month warning, damnit! These are not easy times we are living in, but I'm doing about as well as you can under the circumstances. Hope you are too!

The anniversary always sneaks up on me and I always wish I'd made a little map or something to celebrate, but never remember, but I'm pleased you liked my little celebratory post anyway! Next year, I'm going to do a map... ...Promise... Hope you're keeping well and doing okay.

Thanks for the rep and comments on my city map, Kelleri! I usually prefer muted colours (or all out the other way) to pretty much pure sepia, but it's what the client asked for!
