The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.
Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.

Life moves too fast, you know! I don't ever seem to go back to unfinished things, but I think in my case it will probably help when I can actually open them again one day Maybe we need to set up some kind of reward system for people who finish a map that has been abandoned for at least a year?
Yup indeed It'll end up with literally almost everything else I started for challenges I think of the many challenges I've done only 2 or 3 were actually finished, and when they were finished, it was always in time for the challenge. Been trying to solve this unfinished works problem for a while now, but nothing I've done seems to work. *shrug*
LOL! You mean along with all the others? I'm thinking of all the projects I've never finished and laughing at myself more than you It is a beautiful bridge, and well worth the rep

Well deserved for a lot of very hard work and a beautiful result As for finishing it? I can talk (not)! I've still got at least one ex-challenge entry lying around somewhere here at the Guild looking a bit sad and neglected. I will get around to doing it... one day
Thanks Mouse. Haha yeah you know my common refrain since you've heard it so often, I do intend to finish it, but we'll see. I actually have a complete idea of the map in mind though so that is a plus. And like a bunch of my other unfinished stuff it has too much work into it not to finish...

I meant every word Well deserved! As for the Pearls... Well, If you finish yours... (I know - I'm being a mischief!) Yes I probably will finish the original map someday.
