Hello!
This is the map I drew for the last challenge. The goal was to take a map we drew a long time ago and redo it. I took a map I had drawn for a Dungeon&Dragon adventure that we never played. I tried to give it a medieval look (because it's an old map... even though I'm not that old ) and also that this map tells the story I wanted my friends to play (the beginning of which is written in the frames). I've been a bit taken by time, and most of the details of the map have been copied or adapted from existing illuminations. In the end, the result doesn't really reflect what I had in mind, but at least I tried...
The map was mostly drawn on PS.

Many thanks to those who gave encouragement and advice during the challenge.

Very nice. Definitely came a long way in 30 years.
I love the illustrations for this map! Amazing improvement from the original!
Really neat monsters!
Thank you! I'm glad I've made some progress.
Thanks Domino and Arimel ! The funny thing is that most of these illustrations date back to the Middle Ages... our ancestors already had a great imagination, and a lot of mischief...
Wow, that's an impressive improvement !
The new map is truely amazing, Jo. I enjoy a lot all the details, fun creatures, and generally speaking, the immersive feeling.
Have some well deserved rep for it !
Your illustrations look particularly faithful to the medieval aesthetic.
The knights and the monsters seem to come straight from an illumination.
As for the improvement you shown, I think it speaks for itself. Very good job !
