Map Planets of hats (August/September 2017 Challenge)

This is the map I made for the 2 months long challenge: https://www.cartographersguild.com/s...ad.php?t=38735
I almost managed to include all the topics. It was an experimental map for me, with mixed results.

    Aerostat?
No, more like this : https://www.google.ca/search?dcr=0&t...&bih=968&dpr=1

Yes candy canes! A planet of hats is a planet with a single biome. Candylandia is a terraformed planet made by an eccentric merchant.

Huh. I saw a speck on Venus and thought it would be an aerostat...

Oh that? it's a floating city. Maybe it can be counted as an aerostat. I haven't bothered to find an explanation how it could float.

Oh, yeah, that's probably an aerostat. Or at least, the realistic proposals use a gasbag filled with nitrogen/oxygen in a breathable mix. (Didn't we discuss this elsewhere?) Such a gas mix is actually a lifting gas in Venus's atmosphere. The "city" is sort of built inside the bottom of the bag and you just breathe the lifting gas, which you include in the life support cycle. For more lift you can use pure hydrogen or helium if you want to, but you shouldn't breathe it.
