The Ebony Kingdom - Maps for a LARP
Here's another batch of maps I did for a LARP event named L'Enclave in Quebec, Canada.
This time it's a kingdom splitted in 9 palatinate and one colony, each with their own cultures and customs. The setting of that game is low-fantasy, but if we compare with technology advance and mentality of the real world, it would be situated in the age of colonisation, probably somewhere between the 14th and 17th century (I know it's wide, but it's a fantasy thing, so it can really be anything) so I created a "colonialist"/discoverer map with all the adjacent country in Terra Incognita.
This is some of my early work, it's not as colorful and detailed as my more recent work, but I think there is beauty in the simplicity.

So good. On an individual basis sure, but they really shine as a collection. The themes, styles, and color choices all come together to make the collection even cooler than the sum of its parts.
