Map The North (regional map Forgotten Realms)

Here is an old map I have now improved with new color style and updated textures. Comments welcome.

This is a map of The North in Forgotten Realms. The map has a hex grid (which is a bit blurry at this resolution).

Here is a low res version - The original is at 5 times the resolution at 6000 pixels wide:

And here is a part of the map at full resolution:

You are one of those mappers who's style is easy to recognice from a mile away. Very you and very effective as always! The grid is maybe a tad dominating for my taste, but that is often how it is for me - the aesthetics always come first and functionality only second. I especially enjoy all the little details you get a hint of at full resolution, like the little bridges and whatnot.

I couldn't resist to make some tweaking. Also removed the hex drid on this one.

That's gorgeous. How long did it take you to make?

    Thanks all for nice comments!
I first made a version in 2016 - I now updated the colours and textures.
I have a nice workflow so I guess i can do one map in about a day if I have everything set. I am about to do the southern Sword Coast so I can see how long it takes.

I really like your roads blending into your bridges.
