Post Failed Kickstarter tile game - Airlock

    Hey all-

Was going through some old stuff and figured I'd post this one up here.

IN 2014 I was asked to develop some artwork for a kickstarter that did not make it's funding.

I made four sample tiles (one for each room shape) and, if the kickstarter were successful would have done a total of 20 unique tiles, with different colour coded airlock connectors, as per the game designer's figuring. For what it is worth, the airlock colours each have a unique number of lines on them which reflected the scarcity of that colour.

One of the online reviews stated
The designers spared no expense with their tile artwork as each tile shows a top-down view of different rooms on a space station. The rooms feel like they were pulled right out of a science fiction movie: there are mess halls, calibration stations, engine rooms, science labs and greenhouse rooms that could potentially be in your space ship.
Here is a mock-up of four tiles "in game":

I've attached the remaining proofs just to show off the design.

P.S. - I also designed the logo.... Here was my initial logo idea sheet that was provided, in case anyone is interested in that type of thing.

    How interesting

I don't see why it should have failed really. What a shame!

Great maps to go with it
