Default Hi! Really excited to learn...

Hi all! So I think my story is a familiar one. Been running D&D for a few years, love using maps and other visual aids, and have recently started learning how to make them myself on Photoshop! (I still use CS2 'cause it was freeeee)

I'm still definitely new at it, but I hope to learn more by talking to people on here and practicing.

Ah, the good ol' CS2. Used that baby for years, only very recentely jumped on the CC bandwagon. It is a very handy software, even to this day. Be sure to check out the Photoshop tutorials here at the Guild if you haven't already, they are a few that are extremely useful in getting the hang of mapping and using PS in general.

Glad to have you along, welcome to the Guild!

I used CS2 for ages because it was free... check out Krita and Photopea, also noteworthy free softwares.

    Question Greetings!

    Hello and welcome!

I hope that you are able to find yourself some great resources here.
    Q. If you were to choose your favorite type of map, what would it be? World, dungeon, city, or something else?

Looking forward to seeing your work.

As i just joined, and find that like so many others, i am an avid D&D fan, from artwork to gaming.
Hemdall, to answer your question, it would be a world map that i could actually print out using multiple pages, and populate myself with settlements, cities and ruins, dungeons.

Love the maps you have already uploaded. They look really good.

Time to go explore some more Cartographers' work and become envious of the skills
