Map My personal 30 days mapping challenge - dungeons

    Hi!

I've been posting this on various social media, and I figured I could create a thread here for feedback.
I decided to do my own personal challenge where I want to draw a dungeon map for 30 days every day. I called it #maptember (yeah I know there's already a #mapvember, but I didn't want to wait till November ).

Let me know if you like the maps, or any constructive criticism.

    Cheers,
    Diego

I think they both look pretty great. It's a good clean style.

In the second one though I'm not sure what I'm looking at. You've got he cave walls and the open space and then that pebbly textured area which are built walls maybe? But they also read as a depth change so look like a moat sort of thing. I think it could be solved if you had avoided differentiating them from the cavern walls and they just flowed out (if they are walls).

Thanks Falconius, yeah I tried two different styles in one map to see how it came out. My idea is that the walls (the pebbly area) are in ruin so you can actually see the top of them with some rubble, but I agree that it might be confusing

A small map today as I have less time available outside the weekend. Not super happy how it came out, but it's still practice, which is why I am doing the challenge =)

Oh wow! Yeah, these are super cool! Keep going. Maptember, mapvember… maybe next year could just be twenty-mapteen and we can all draw 365 maps. Right?
    Cheers,

I personnally never understood why someone choose "mapvember" when "mapril" would be definitely the wisest choice, so I agree with the idea to not stick with mapvember and create a maptember instead
Joke appart, your maps are really great : clean and easy to read : congrats ! I'll look forward to see the following ones !
