Sounds like a fun challenge, and a wonderful first entry. Look forward to seeing more of your work throughout the month.

A few guilders have mentioned the idea of mapvember before and having been inspired by some wonderful works in Inktober, I'd thought I'd give it a shot! I always end up procrastinating on maps so I thought it'd be a great way to get a load of finished maps together.
I can't promise I'll keep it up to date everyday, but I'm going to do my best. Each day I'll post a new map, some bigger, some smaller, some inked, some colour, but always a map. Sometimes I'll go back to unfinished pieces, or restart them entirely, other times, I'll just come up with something totally new.
I'm sure I won't be alone with this, so I look forwards to seeing some of the other marvellous pieces created.
*EDIT* - I've put all the pieces so far onto this first post.

This looks great! Lots of depth and detail for just B&W.
It's making me tempted to try it. Good luck!
Good luck!
Great first map, Greg.
I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of them
Free parchments | Free seamless textures | Battle tiles / floor patterns | Room 1024 - textures for CC3 | GUILD CITY INDEX
No one is ever a failure until they give up trying
That first map certainly looks great already. I hope you can oull through with the project!
Go Greg ! That's tough but rewarding even if you drop out at some point. But be strong !
Great start Greg!
I am 2 pieces close to finish Inktober, where i mostly drew environments and maps... it REALLY was tough, and i kinda lost the focus in the last week, but i highly reccomend it!

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. Not got an update today, though I do have another map just needing to be scanned.
Yep, been keeping close track of that, Jack, even if I don't get around to commenting much. It's been absolutely inspiring to watch your thread grow and the pieces flow! J.Ed's inktober work on DeviantArt (https://sirinkman.deviantart.com/gallery/) has also been a huge inspiration so I'd check that out too if you get a chance.
