    Wip Nov-Dec 2019 Challenge: Ward 42 Smuggler's Map

    I saw that no one had claimed spot #42 on the Guild City map so I thought that was a good shape and wouldn't impose on anyone's prior work. I want to do a smuggler's map, but one that would resist weather and general wear and tear, so I settled on leather. I think I'll go with a piece of leather that was then stitched onto a larger piece of leather - maybe by librarians? - but I'm not sure about keeping it in scroll form.

    This is a cool idea. And I like how your turning it out, it looks really well. Also glad to see another city section filled.

    I wonder if I shall ever find the motivation to finish mine... Maybe... maybe...

    Thanks, all! It's nice to be able to take some time to map, rather than bury myself in legal work. I'm trying to determine the best way to get a good burned look for the text that I want to add. I also plan to add some additional stitching to show safe houses and such. My original thought was that it would be good for a smuggler's map to be sturdy enough that it could resist water damage, being packaged into random barrels of foodstuffs, etc. Now that I think about it, smuggler's probably want maps that they can easily destroy. Oops. But I'm sticking with leather anyway.

    Ooh, corrupted guards...I may need to add some more notes to the map. Still playing around with some placement.
