Welcome to the Challenge Tiana! I hope that is directed at the River Police and not anyone in particular.

Yes, just towards the river police no one should take it personally even if they are the river police

also I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT THIS IS A PERFECTLY HEALTHY AND 100% REALIZED PIECE OF WORLD BUILDING NO ONE COULD BE UPSET BY MY RIVER WITH HOW MANY DIFFERENT EXITS like at least 3.

(I just wanted to kick off the action with a troll map. Chances are VERY high I will not finish it but maybe someone will go 'lol' and that's good enough for me)

(oh wait I have an idea for the forests though.....)

Eh, I went ROFLMAOPIP. Is that good enough? Seriously though, it is a perfectly fine entry for this challenge just the way it is. Do hope you get a chance to spice it up a bit.

You want it, you get it: LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

Honestly, great idea, I had to laugh very loud!

And also wonderfull mapping idea Bogie. I have to find some time to participate. Always had my fights with the river police (ok to clarify that: they were always right from a geographical point of view), when I joined the forum first time. So a Weird-River map is exactly what I need to deal with that experience

    I find your mountains implausible.

Okay okay you're right, it needs more than just my OUTSTANDING RIVER SYSTEM.

(seriously don't take it personally, I tell people how to do rivers right now too... ONLY NOW MEME HUMOR HAS BEEN ACTIVATED)

Greason, your wish has come true! I have indeed added everything a good map needs to be "finished"!

I have added DELTAS! I have added MOUNTAINS! I have added VOLCANOS! I have added FORESTS! I have added a BORDER WITH ICONS and even a LABEL and TEXT and last but not least, a whole new texture overlay and moody desaturation and darkness... everything a good map needs to be complete and beautiful! I dunno what else to add... ships maybe. I usually add grasslands but I haven't thought of a way to corrupt this.

Maaan Bogie you never dreamed of this, I'm sorry, you triggered the inner Reddit in me or something. I'm sure you meant like, "someone make a weird spiral river or a complicated delta arrangement or some magical hexagram or upward flowing beautiful waterfalls"... and then you get this.

Styescape, I am glad you loled. This map is purely "comedy map", there should be no lack of clarity of its intent as a meme now...

Yes, Neflite, it is a lot of fun to make, though "well done" is not how I would describe it.

I realized MISSING IMPORTANT MAP FEATURE and added a compass.

The mountains definitely add something. I have always been fascinated by the addition of the decorative artwork around the periphery of a map that shows the inhabitants of the depicted area. I've never been able to do much in that regard, but the techniques you showed here may have inspired me.
