I had to go on a business trip this week and on top of that wasn't feeling well, so I wasn't able to finish the map yesterday to scan it today at work. So you have to deal with another bad photograph. But tomorrow I can borrow the portable scanner of a friend and hopefully I'll get a better picture then.

I'm now done with inking, but I'm indecisive if I should add a little bit of color.

I like this how it is but I bet it would look great with colour too. I tried to draw a map using pencil and paper but I chickened out when it came to the inking stage. I'm too scared that I'll make an irreparable mistake. So I think that's top marks to you on that. I like how you've captured my face and my hair first thing in the morning in the shape of Straf Island too

I think I will color it tomorrow after scanning the map - just in case I mess up the coloring. And I understand completely that you chickened out. I was so scared when I started inking!

Here is the final version (I think so). I did a little bit of coloring with colored pencil, inspired by maps from Petrus Plancius. The paper wasn't ideal for colored pencils, but I'm a hopeless case when it comes to aquarell.
