Map Mt. Olympus [Odyssey of the Dragonlords]

This was a fun piece to work on.
I bring more of the maps from the Odyssey of the Dragonlords, from Arcanum Worlds.
There will be a lot more from those mythic lands.
We’re continuing with a vertical map/image, semi-cross section thing, theoretically somewhere in Thylea.
I’m not sure where this is in Thylea, but I quite like how it came out.

This is one of two cross section, vertical map/image things I did for Odyssey.
    Grab it at - https://www.modiphius.net/collection...he-dragonlords
You can grab the players guide and character sheets free at the link.

I’ll drop more over the coming weeks on into Christmas and beyond, i'm sure.
Have a great week. And a wonderful holiday season. Cheers, J

It has a truly olympian epicness about it. I love how the peak thrones amidst the foothills / minor ridges. The cutaway pit looks fantastic and gives a nice contrats to the overall composition. You never cease to amaze John! I have to take a closer look on the other maps of this series of yours.

Wonderfully made, and as clever as usual. I can't get enough of your subtle colors

    Thanks Abu
This is definitely the biggest series I've done, but also the most fun.
A lot of variety in this.

Reminds me of some Inktober piece you did a while ago and I love seeing this style applied to cartography

    Superb work.
    I like all the details.

But that is a steep garden for those who can't hover.

Yeah, side on, slight perspective terrains are a goto thing for fun sketching, so they come up a lot.

    Thanks Azelor
Yep, it would be tricky to tend that garden.
And the vineyard too. Maybe they have a lot of Grecian monkeys..

Hey ! it's not because it's a little stronger than some of your other pieces it's not on the subtle side of the Force, or am I wrong ?

    I kid, sort of. ;P
I suspect most of my color is subtle.
