Default September 2014 Challenge : Good ol' dungeon

I decided to go with some basic dungeon tiles for this challenge. At the moment, there's more than 6 and I'll probably go with even more. I might choose only 6 of them at the end, or combine them to end up with 6 dungeons floor. Anyway, first step, lineart working :

And with some walls sections added, here's a small sample of the tiles in action :

I like the floor tiles Max, but I don't think the walls work so well. Although the drawing is good--as usual--it isn't too clear that they are walls. I am wondering if you could make either the floor or wall tiles darker than the other, to make it more obvious that they are different, and also show the relative depth of the different elements.

Hard to compete with that ..

Then again, I've been searching for dungeon tiles quite a while .. so I might just need them for .. you know, dungeon stuff

    Kind regards,

Yes, I was thinking something similar about doing the walls darker

Be aware that this stuff si not free at the moment, though. I'm planning to develop it in a commercial project. I thought that this challenge would be a good way to jump in

I made the walls a bit darker and also expanded the dungeon (with new stuff like wooden doors, pool, trapdoor, some alcoves).
