    Nah, there will be a complete text to explain every single step in detail, and all the effects that I used to get this type of map exactly as I wanted it to (which is, blame my lack of creativity, as close to the 1880ish original as I could get).

    The posts and pictures for now are just teasers... and a way for me to organize the necessary steps. This kind of challenge doesn't lend itself to WIP posts, as I said.

    Well, as a teaser they sure work! I'm very eager to read this guide when it's done, because the final result is awesome!

    Actually, yeah, this does make sense to set it up this way since as you said, Freodin, this one doesn't lend itself well to WIPs. I stand corrected.

    Due to some small personal problems, I will not be able to finish this tut in time for the Challenge.

    Still, this competition encouraged me to sit down and do it at last. It is now about 3/4 finished, and will most likely be published in the Tutorials subforum at the end of the week.
