Thanks a lot for the support guys!

Do you think you'll include some indication of the local colors or stick with greyscale for the time-frame?
The answer is in the question . Depending of the time left, I'll color it or not.

Still doing basic buildings & roofs...

In the end, I'll probably for a top view (easier to put labels this way), with an illustrative side view & maybe close-ups of the main buildings. What do you think?

You should make big stone heads sculpted into the pillars.
That's an idea... But I've no clue how to do statues or heads... I could see what is available in the sketchup wharehouse though. It would allow me to put a statue under this building too .

    Thanks, to both of you!

I've finished the base 3D shape of buildings and roofs. Now, working on some details (I'm trying to do that giant face actually) and I'll begin to work the top view more seriously.

I've done a very basic giant face (hey, that's not easy...). So, where should I put it? I can't decide...

I've done a test of paper & top view. I think I'll go for a bigger view, and I obviously need to add details to give a better view of the cliff and rocks on that one.

Also, I think I'll put some trees in the left part, behind the building.

I still think all those pillars could have faces on them. Maybe they could actually be hollowed-out spires of rock that act as temples for the local gods, whose faces adorn the outsides?

This looks really cool! I like the parchment background.

Hmm, I've not done much more...
@Diamond : Oouch, you're not making this easy, man!
@arsheesh : thanks! I need to finish the details visible from the top, though.
Just a (more simple) test about those faces. What do you think? Not sure it's fine.

I may focus more on building details and maybe a ship now... I was wondering if I should add chimneys or not, but I imagine it in a quite hot region, so...
