I don' t think I (or anyone else) can own a style, so: go nuts!

Latest update: the inking part is pretty much done, unless I decide to change some things. I'm also going to clean up what I have now.
At the moment, I'm playing around with aged paper, and trying to get some idea of how I might colour it. One thing that really annoys the **** out of me is how washed out my scans always look when compared to the the actual drawing that's lying on my desk (natural lighting and not-quite-white paper and all).

    This is a dream.

I would leave it the way it is in the first picture, really. It looks nice colored in, but imo no color gives it a nice historical feel to it.

I'm definitely considering it. It's just that I love colouring so much I can' t help myself.

Just keeps getting better. Are you planning to label it?

    So far it looks incredible.
Here's a thought for you to try - it's something I do when I am working with traditionally hand drawn maps.
Duplicate the layer and set the top layer to multiply and then reduce opacity till it meets your need.
That has worked well fro me in the past.

Keep the great work coming Blaidd, it's stunning!¨

You can use Ctrl+L in Photoshop to access Levels, there you can easily adjust so the scan looks just like the original.

Eager to see your next update!

    Cheers,

This is utterly fantastic! I like the B & W version, but the coloured one is just amazing. Cannot wait to see it finished.
