Pathpner World Map, 12,000 x 6,000 self challenge

So after a brief (college very much related) hiatus from mapping I'm back with what is going to be my most ambitious mapping attempt ever; 12000 x 6000 pixel map, twice the size of any previous maps I've made. In order not to melt my computer I'll be doing the work continent by continent, before stitching together. I present in this post the half scale histogram of the world with its 4 major landmasses, 6 continents, and way to many hand place islands. After this, I divide the work into three different sub areas to work on in GIMP and WILBUR. However, on top of that I will be doing each major mountain chain independently from each other in order to fine tune them. wish me luck.
