I love that! Combined with the color transition, I think it looks great.

The texture of the land is interesting but it's a shame i have to zoom in to notice it. I love your swamp .
I can't wait to see the next improvements.

    Thanks everyone !

I've done some tests for roads and cities. The roads are unfinished, I'll add a slight shadowing I think, and the stones are representing a day travel. For cities, I've reworked my previous set, with a few more. I've decided to color the flags to show the country (red for Isadjan, green for Karandu...).

Not sure to understand. Your talking about the crops lands? Too faint?

Everything is nicely consistent (was just joking about the pointy mountains earlier. But they are more pointy than average, no doubt about it )

One point has striken me in the eye.
You have very accurate, very black and strong lines everywhere.
One exception are the town icons. They have a very different linework, color and are fuzzy. For me it didn't fit in with the rest.

Yes, the land seem uniform when you watch all the map. But it's perhaps a mater of taste. For the city icons, i have the same problem when drawing them at a big size and reduce them at their map size...

Thanks for the help. I agree about the city icons, I have redone those in the circle. Better?

@Warlin : I can increase the opacity of the crops (like below), but I'm not sure it's not too much present this way.

Oh yes. Like those in the circle much more.

A small update with icons redone and a test for mines & sea roads. I really need to find something to indicate distances (both on lands & sea roads). It's crowded with the stones for land roads.

Some more cities/mines and a test to finish the land roads.

Any suggestion about distances on sea/land roads?

I really love the city icons, they fit so perfectly in there. I especially like the little dash of color on the flags - really well done.
