Another update. I remade the church/temple since the earlier one got too big. I've also added some more forest and old hill graves as well as some more details. The iPad still works fantastically well and no more slow downs since I turned off recording in procreate.

Procreate and the iPad are great for drawing, but i'm not impartial, i don't have allready test another software. I can't imagine drawing back with a mouse and gimp... Your thread make me want trying drawing city maps. Nice wip which i might watch being develop.

Are those a pair of barrows on the left? Looking great so far.

Looks great, I've been wondering about working on the ipad pro - but seems like it works fine - at least for the line work

Yes it is, probably plundered a long time ago, or are there still hidden entrances no one have discovered, who knows

Thanks, and yes it works really well for line work and colouring. I still miss how you can work with patterns in Photoshop and some other things that can speed up the work a bit. But the really great thing with the iPad is that it is so portable so you can easily bring it everywhere.

I like the remade temple, fits better now! And those barrows close to it are a really nice touch, shows how sacred or important places often remain important even if the religion shifts, great little background story inclusion

Thanks, and yes that is kind of the idea

Here is also an updated version of the map. I've added some more buildings and terrain. I've also added a background and tried to add some colour, mainly to test if there was any lag. But no, so far everything works just great.

Yes you do have help tools for those, which makes it very easy to draw good looking houses.
