Wip Horn & Stars Tavern WP

I'm going to be taking a brief break from the lite mapping challenges, because I have a new project to work on, and this one has a bit of a time limit. This is the first of three 'dungeon type' maps I'm going to create, where there is both above ground structures and below ground dungeons. Some of them are simply basements of the structures, but hey, they are still going to be dungeonesque(is that a word?)

The first is my Horn & Stars Tavern, located in the deceptively sleepy town of Ardenvale (there's a map of Ardenvale floating around here somewhere!)
This is the first time I've ever done a multi story structure, so this is definitely a learning experience for me! Right now I'm concentrating on the first floor, the basement will come later . I hope you enjoy the process!

Lol... I've actually restructured this a bit, I didn't care for layout once I started placing the tables and such. I just forgot to post it today!

The first floor is pretty self explanatory... It's when I start mapping the basement that things will get interesting!

But I'm enjoying the process so far!

So here is the newest rendering of my Horn & Stars Tavern, located in the deceptively sleepy town of Ardenvale. I switched up the layout, added my furniture, and have done some tweaking here and there. I'm now mostly finished with the main floor. I have some tweaking to do, and a few finishing touches, and the first floor will be done! Now on to the 'basement'!

I'm not finished with the first floor... I still have some finishing touches to do... but I decided to go ahead and get a jump on the basement. I'm not finished by a long shot... but it's definitely progressing!

Here are some options for you

A 3/4 circular wall to go around the stairs to make them look more complete.

I don't know what size floor tiles CC3 uses, these are all 200 x 200 pixels at 200 dpi. That is what DJ uses. DJ can make a floor out of 1 tile, or it can randomize multiples to reduce Repetition. What format does CC3 use? Anyway here are some floor tiles I thought might work for you. some of them I made, some are from DJ Forums.

I haven't discussed this here yet, but you (Bogie) and Ladie Storm know it. We'll be releasing free, large art packs soon of your work for CC3+, Dundjinni and FM8. All three packages are in beta testing right now, and Ladie Storm is a CC3+ beta tester. As you can see, she's using a lot of your symbols in the tavern. Right now (I'm really working on it at this time!) I'm finishing the part of the CC3+ beta that includes your textures, among them all of your good floor tiles.

As far as CC3+ texture resolutions, are concerned. there are 4 of them:

    VH (Very High): 500x500 Pixels
    HI (High): 200x200 Pixels
    LO (Low): 50x50 Pixels
    VL: (Very Low): 10x10 Pixels

When making a map in CC3+, the program chooses the best resolution for the current view level. CC3+ seldom uses the VH resolution and doesn't really need it. Third party sets often leave it out. Important is that the HI resolution at 200x200 Pixels is available. Your textures are at 200x200, so they're really ideal for the conversion I'm making right now, which turns your Dundjinni textures into multi-resolution CC3+ Fill Styles. The CC3+ textures must be PNGs, which is the same as yours.
