The grates are a tunnel that you have to fill with water or have a grappling hook and rope to get down and then up, and there are quite a few secret doors as you can see.

Beautiful work. I especially like the room with the dagger, good details with the blood. I love the large cross hatching especially where it crosses itself in corners or near the pillars really makes them feel dingy and shaded, but it seems distracting in a couple of the long corridors to my eye.

Thank you for the criticism, I agree for the most part, I think it's because in the grand scale of things the passageways are small, and so the hatching doens't work as well there.

    Very nice! my personal opinion:
You should paint the river's banks in a lightly different color (maybe more brownish) to differentiate it from the pavement.
    keep it up!

For personal Use and My Opinion..Overall To dark. I have tired old eyes. Like the general lay out..Could easily be usable.

Nice work on this one eViLe. Looks dark and brooding. I like the simple details, such as the reflection of the light on the flagstone.

The details with dagger and blood and torch shadows are amazing.
    Dark and ancient. Beautiful.

Excellent, and I love the shadows, though I agree with jpstod that the map could use a little bit of lightening up.
