October 2016 challenge: Dracula, The Origins of a Name

Thanks Mouse, if the blood on the map, in any way represented the amount of suffering dealt out by Vlad the impaler who is said to be the inspiration for Dracula then the map would no longer be legible.

The blood that's on the background texture is real blood, tho not human I have no idea how to replicate it realistically, and I did try. If I had more time to experiment I might be able to figure it out, tho I think like you said it could become faintly ridiculous which is the result I got when I tried it, so I'm just gonna leave it alone.

Thanks mat, the fonts I used were IM fell bold, for the title, I just set it to italic for the region names, and I used IM fell italic for the rest.

You can download them here http://www.dafont.com/im-fell-types.font and the pack contains some other really nice fonts as well, I find the IM fell French is very similar only with cleaner lines, I like the English because the edges are a bit rough which goes well with textured paper backgrounds.

I think I'm going to call this finished. If you see anything that really stands out that needs fixing let me know, I might have a bit of time tonight to do any final changes if need be.
