I know this is a persanal taste thing...but.....to me the thing that distracts from the Map's over all look is that the grid is on top of everything....My personal taste has always been grid only on floors..(Exception> rugs)..

Also I hate overly detailed maps for general play...Unless it is a map I will use over and over.

I also sell on DrivethruRPG...not much luck yet there.

I've got only one upload on DriveThruRPG so far, which is a "Pay what you want" camp site that's gotten around 300 downloads. *shrugs* I'm not experienced enough to make any predictions regarding what works and what doesn't. I plan to sell this including illustrations of NPCs and several adventure hooks.

Yea .... It is kinda funny what sells and what doesn't. And more frustrating. especially on Kickstarter and similar places....I was doing a Kickstarter ($300 goal) and I had at one point $65 and then people backed out..I canceled at $15 in Backers.....Several weeks later someone did a very similar project...( of course I am bias, but I believe my maps were way better and they raised $3500 on a $1300 goal in the Matter of Hours....I designed my project on 24x36 Layout with a grid and no grid format and 300 DPI VTT version of each of 9 Locales in the set I never expected to get rich but It would have been nice to succeed for once.
