Well I decided to jump on the mountain bandwagon to see what I could do in monochrome. Comments &c. welcome:

Thanks. I can't seem to end them though. How do you stop mountains? Each time I try to take them down another ridge appears and they're up again! Is that a DLC feature on GIMP that I have to pay for? Mountain Brakes?

Haha, what a problem to have. Try drawing a river to cut them off at the knees!

    Looking good, though.

    Hey Straf

I see your having the opposite problem to me - I just can't seem to get started on developing mine!

I think you're doing really well, and if you want to stop them you will have to let the ridge line just trail away like its one of the slope lines

I'm thinking a bit more detail and depth in the shading?

I like to let them trail off into foothills, which makes the break less sudden. These look great though!

Thanks. I picked up a tablet on Wednesday and drew these yesterday afternoon with it. It certainly makes things a lot easier.
