Default Taking pictures of your map via a cellphone

I recently finished my first pass of a map using Devin Rue's tutorials and when I went to scan it I realized the paper is too large for my scanner. I remember at some point seeing a tutorial of how to best take pictures for upload via a cellphone. Unfortunately, I neglected to bookmark the page. Does anyone either know what tutorial I'm referring to or have any thoughts on the best way to do so?

Have you tried downloading the Scannable app? It's not a half-bad scanner for your phone, you only need to be sure that the surface the map is on is different enough from the color of the paper so the scanner app doesn't get confused and scan the surface as part of the image. I'm using a computer, but I believe you can still download the app here: https://evernote.com/products/scannable/

I hadn't even heard of it. Will check it out now. Thanks!
