This is a little sketch I did of the latest encounter in my D&D game. The GM doesn't usually do maps, but I was inspired and had some time waiting at my son's piano lesson, so I interpreted the space. The buildings are empty because we haven't explored in there yet!

I'm working on more than a dozen maps over a couple commissions and most of them probably won't be published for awhile yet, so I'll have to wait to post them. In the meantime I just wanted to let you know I'm still around. These little sketches are a lot of fun and I really like trying stuff out with a pen, no layer effects (other than paper texture) and no undo. They're also the only non-comission thing I've been able to fit in lately (my languishing Guild City district, I'm looking at you!) Thanks for having a look!

Oh, and because this area isn't fully explored, if you have any ideas for enhancing this thing, I'd love to hear criticisms. Happy mapping!

This is lovely. Your linework is so clear and confident (unlike my shaky, wobbly drawings haha) and I like the hatching.

I'm glad you're still mapping, even if you can't share anything, and that you haven't deserted us!!
