Shades of turquoise, through green to lime - yet nothing too oversaturated.

You've done a lot of work, and its looking splendid

Looking good! I like what you're doing with the insets.

Great, a polar projection! Excellent idea and nice inset, already.

That first inset is very nice and the coloring is great. It's developing very nicely (:

Thanks guys, I'm pretty pleased with how it's heading!

I'm definitely going to take that as a compliment. Max is always an inspiration in the work he does!

A quick update, with some more fleshed out land and another inset done, though a more illustrationy one this time!

Well, I may still tweak it again before the end. There certainly are a few things I might try to add if I can. Anyway, here it is, it could be better, it could be worse, but it is what it is.

Any feedback would be appreciated in this last day or so before the end.

Its a very attractive map, Greg I really like it.

Are you going to give a simple indication of the regions and major cities - the simple threadlike roads that connect them so that I can get around the place to see all these attractions you've highlighted in those attractive little inset maps?

It seems a bit odd without them.

I'm with Mouse - just a few labels wouldn't go amiss. It's a gorgeous map, but does feel a bit empty.

I rather fancy tiny pinpoints of blood to mark the cities (smoothly bevelled pillar box red) to set the green afire (and I mean tiny), with a nicely understated and very subtle road system - possibly paler than the green of the land, though darker than the ice in the south.
