As always, I'm dazzled by your art ! As I said on DA, the multi map is a blast and the artifact itself is a perfect labyrinth that seems to hold an antique secret, maybe a path to some treasure

    And ...

Dang, man. Do you ever make a bad map? Are you even capable of it?

    This thing is quite impressive.

I'm quite convinced that J is a reincarnation of Leonardo da Vinci - only this time he's decided to do cartography

Amazing piece of work. It's like from a guidebook of an historical site

Really beautiful illustration as always John. Love the more sci-fi themes you've captured in this too.

Thanks Ilanthar. Hehe, well, i can't always watch and draw... i was sort of watching reruns, i think.
It must have been Ancient Aliens as I feel like i started on friday night.
The History channel runs a marathon of it so if you watch long enough it just starts to repeat.

    Thanks Tilt
as i said to Ilanthar, I would have trouble if I was really actively watching
I was sort of watching and sketching... but neither at the same time.

That is very much what I was shooting for.

    Spectacular!! Just!! Spectacular.

I'm trying to see if the patterns in the helmet mirror the tomb layout, but I just get lost in the labyrinth.

Such a good idea to follow this work of archaeologist ... a whole story told in drawing!
