I have a problem. All of my maps are huge, we're talking 30x30in and bigger in some cases.

They are all scaled to a 1in grid, and I mostly use them for VTT. I typically do them at 75 -150 dpi depending on how much detail I'm throwing in but the files end up being huge.

I see a lot of people doing higher-res maps on normal sized paper (8 1/2x11 or 11x17) but I can never manage to get my scaling right on the grid or when I put it into my VTT.

I'd really like to get them to be a little more crisp and smaller overall (file size in particular), so I'm wondering if anyone has advice to deal with the scale of assets when working on higher-res maps?
