Thread: Geisha class Entertainment Escort Starship

Default Geisha class Entertainment Escort Starship

So the next custom starship deck plan I am designing using Starfinder RPG rules is what I am calling a Geisha class entertainment escort starship - essentially a flying nightclub, theater and high end brothel. I am imagining media famous singers, musicians, actors, comedians and other performance artists fly on a circuit to arenas, opera houses, and theater venues across the known galaxy for scheduled concert performances. In between locations passing ships, and stops at smaller venues where the ship itself can serve as a stage where none are available on various more primitive starports and colonies. Between shows, these artists serve as elite escorts for those with wealth, stature and power. I am imagining in addition to stage talent, many of these artists are trained in the arts of sex and seduction - not unlike Inara's Companion Academy training in Firefly/Serenity. This vessel is owned by the interstellar Yakuza and on contract to the PC/NPCs. The dome on top serves as a transparent roof over the nightclub, restaurant, galley and stage area expansion bays beneath, but on planet the dome opens to serve as the backdrop to a stage show on the hull roof.

Here's the 3D rendered hull, which I think has a sexy design. It was modeled using Wings 3D, and rendered in Daz 3D. I have yet to place the textures, then I'll follow with the actual deck plan itself. The vessel is 460 feet long. Enjoy!

Added textures to the exterior hull of the ship - onto the deck plan...

Almost done! That large square area center aft, just before engineering, that is technically 4 expansion bays - top left, clockwise; bar/lounge area, performance stage, restaurant, chef's kitchen. All these are located under the clear dome. I need to create the kitchen equipment and freezer in kitchen, bar stools and back bar area, then dining room tables throughout that black area, with a clear path to engineering. Once I do that - I'm done! Tomorrow though.

Very nice! Though I have no clue what those four green knobs are supposed to be...

Sorry, those are maneuvering thrusters for vertical takeoff and landing on planet for precise placement, especially when the ship is used as a stage with the performers on top and the glass dome open as a stage back on colony worlds that lack a performance venue for the entertainer crew aboard this ship.
