Wip Sept / Oct '17 Lite Challenge: Caves of Chaos, Thomas's part 11

It's been a long time since I took part to a monthly challenge so, here we go. I hopped on part 11 of the caves network and put a little something together. I dunno the style I'll choose but it's gonna be fun !

I'll now wait for sir Bogies instruction about my part

    An enthusiastic start!

I hope Bogie's instructions aren't too tortuously difficult

    (I'm only jealous I can't take part )

Thanks guys and lady Mouse ! I still dunno where I'm going and these clusters of trees are useless challenge wise but I'll make them all the same. The cross hatching doesn't work for me, I want something more illustrative so, that'll go away.

Also, Bogie, the image I posted is my full resolution. I don't know if I'm good regarding size. Could you perhaps check it for me ? (the imperial system is highly unnatural for a french physics teacher like me)

Looks good. I kind of like the hatching.

Looking good Thomas. You have the grid correct and it is at 70 dpi, but the size is a little small.

Your map is 64 squares wide, which should also be 64 inches, but currently it is 50.8 inches wide. Put another way less prone to the confusion of metric vs inches, the map should be 64 squares that are each 70 pixels wide for a total width of the map being 4480 pixels. your map currently is 3559 pixels wide. It needs to be 26% larger size but still at the same 70 dpi and 64 grid squares. I hope that explanation is good enough.

Crystal clear ! I've just a little adjustment to make and it won't even disturb my drawing that much. Thank you kindly sir !
