I love maps and GIS!!!

Hello everyone, my name Miguel Gutierrez. I love all kinds of maps and I am geographic information system fan. I studied graphic design and worked for about 8 years in graphic design industry marketing side. I decide to change my profession and study geographic information system. I am currently learning ArcGIS program and I love it. But also love to draw fantasy maps and sci fi maps by hand. I don't have any maps yet that I feel comfortable posting. I am still learning to use Adobe CC for making maps. I have a lot of questions so I hope that you map veterans can help answer some of them.

hi there and welcome

i do not draw much any more ( neck/spine injury ) but i use Qgis, GRASS , GDAL ,ISIS3 ,AIMS stereo pipeline ( uses NASA's Vision workbench )

and Blender for 2d and 3d work

Welcome in the guild miguelg! There's a few of us that works with GIS here, and mixing GIS data with graphic software is always a good thing for aesthetic improvements
