Map Cave of the ancient kings - [fol2dol dungeon 01]

    Hi,
Here is a first draft of an old cave where lies 4 stone sarcophagus. It seems that someone is trying to summon or resurrect something here!

You're all set, I fixed your title for you.

I like the layout / design of your dungeon.

An update, I need your feedbacks.
my biggest problem is to render the fact that the central area is beneath the cave, the stairs go down.

Since your lights are located on the upper level, then there would be a wall shadow all the way around the lower floor. Not a strong one, because you have four lights, but it would be there.

If you make a dark glow around the edge of the upper floor, and fade it out across the lower floor, that might help.

Also, because the lower floor is further away from the lights it might also help to do a very subtle dark overlay on that entire lower floor, since it wouldn't be lit half as brightly as the upper floor.

    Hope that helps

EDIT: I realise now that I've come back to have a second look before going to bed that you already have a dark glow as I described. My apologies! Sorry - I'm very tired. Maybe it will work better if you darken the entire lower floor, and spread that dark glow out about 2-3 times as far?

Thanks for the advice, I darkened the center and spread the dark glow a bit.

That definitely looks like its lower than the surrounding floor now

When you are done, you need to add a comment to what my brain insists on calling 'Red's collecting thread', but I know its not called that at all!
