Harke's Homestead

Hi All,

This was made in Photoshop.
Just a small house for an elderly couple. I was inspired by picture I saw browsing the internet, people used to keep their animals safe by keeping them inside their house as they did not have a barn or anything of the such. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find this picture again.

Small Backstory:

Harke's Homestead

Maud and Dwight Harke have lived on this homestead since they were married 50-ish years ago.

Dwight always promised Maud he would improve their small one room home, (and heck, he even payed his brothers to help build the storage addition), but they never added much more to it than that. They've raised four children (all come and gone now) and even housed a few adventures in their storage area if the weather was bad enough.

They keep busy with their livestock, (including their mare Elowyn, cat Jumper, dog Syn, their beloved truffle pig Belavo, and their small flock of sheep), which they also house in their small home at night for protection as well.

Maud and Dwight love taking their small boat out on the river for fishing, going truffle hunting with Belavo, and their occassional trips to the town for trading/buying goods, news, and a few good spirits.

Decided to touch this up a bit more
I've made the doorways smaller, to about 2-3 ft, i think it looks better

I also added a night time version of the map along with adding that Comic Drawing effect...I think I like it best this way

I want to call this map finished, but will sit on it for a few more days
