    Can I make a suggestion?

Maybe if you write the diary part about the day they finished rebuilding the bridge, instead of the day it was destroyed, it would be even more appropriate to the Challenge?

If you decide to leave it as it is, I don't think you need the 's' at the end of ethnic at the bottom of the first page
    Thanks Mouse !

I have planned to add a short note on the picture of the finished bridge. It'll be « July 23, 2004 », and « inauguration of the rebuilt bridge » and then « There's always hope ».
The idea is to give the impression of someone receiving the picture of the inauguration of the new bridge, and then finding back his/her notes in her/his old diary, remembering the destruction of the bridge, more than 10 years before (the main picture being the memory of that dreadful time)
I'm sorry it was not obvious, but it's not finished... and it always give the feeling of failure if you have to explain the drawing... so I'm quite discouraged for now.... but it'll get better tomorrow I guess... Anyway I'm thankful for your messages, it’s always good to know you’re looking at our drawings and giving ideas and advices.

Édit : and English is frustrating for me, I can’t explain myself the way I would like, or give my opinion or feeling about others maps with depths and nuances as I would like...

Having a bad day here, but in 45 Minutes, it’ll be another day !

    Its a great map, Jo!

I didn't mean to leave you feeling discouraged, and if I have, shame on me - my bad!

I think its a great idea to make it look the way you just described

I've been ninjaed with the edit of my post!

It's not your comment that left me discouraged (see : English... Lack of practice), it's my drawing skill and painful back !

It sounds like you are having a really bad time right now.

I am so sorry you are in such pain.

But you know - your drawing skills are extremely good. So don't go around knocking yourself down so hard, Jo!
