    Default Alcott: commission 2017

Happy new year everyone! (a wizard is never late)

Here is a fantasy map I drew in December 2017, for AC Cobble’s Benjamin Ashwood series. Maps for books really are the most fun to work on. Fantasy worlds are always so fascinating with all their unique history, geography and stories. It’s amazing to get a chance to take part in all that, and then draw it.

It is a very nice map indeed. Your style is instantly recognisable, and always puts me in mind of those historic maps from the 17th and 18th centuries. I'd give you some rep, but I have to spread it around a bit more, first...

Happy new year! I look forward to seeing many more of your maps in 2018.
