I just had an idea for a thing to try with the labels, but I'm taking down an art exhibit right now and I'm nowhere near my computer! Hopefully I'll get a chance to try it before the challenge closes.
It must be all the art I'm handling, it's inspirational.

Maybe add an overlay mode or something to the new paths to blend them in just a bit better like they are part of the image?
