Man, i LOOOVE these army and city icons Ilanthar (especially the scorpion rider is absolutely awesome). Superbe stuff all around!The perspective of the landmass looks very good btw. and i'm totally looking forward to see more of the terrain.

I've done a bit more, but honestly, I'm not really liking the scale conflict here... The elements are not fitting together well in my eye.
I suppose I should either get rid of the armies icons (too big for the rest) or redraw a map of a much regional area where they could fit in...

Those army icons are so cool it would be a shame to remove them. I'd vote for re-drawing the map at different scale to fit them in!

Yeah, this option is probably the better. I spent already a lot of time on the armies and the frame, so I'll probably keep that.
Plus, I've never really done a map of small region, so why not.
Yeah, my vote is for a different scale also. Why not show a major battle outside one of the diamond mines, in the passes through the mountains around the mines, etc?
I also vote for keeping the icons. They're very cool really elevate your map to the next level!
