Thread: April 2018 Mapping Challenge: The Dominion of Tirene

I'm frontloading the work this month, because the second half of April I will definitely have less free time to get this thing finished.

Things I'm not sold on/will be changed in the future:

The compass: I feel it needs something more but...what?
The Title: Will include a legend and scale.
    Labeling of Castles: Too crowded?

Still to add: ruined castles. I know we aren't obliged to include them, but I figured them prominently in the "story" of Tirine, so I think they'll make it on.

    This just gets more terrific.

Everything looks great! Maybe remove the curving in the castle labels and just keep them straight? Otherwise it's amazing!

I think the compass is fine. The map is really good. In particular I like your mountains and castles. Are the mountains individually drawn or a collection of brushes?

Definitely on my short list of votes when the time comes.

Yeah, the mountains are hand drawn. And I've since changed the compass just a tiny bit and I like it a lot more now. Update shortly!
