A Fledging Cartographer

Hello everyone! My interest in cartography emerged when my friend group discovered the joy of tabletop RPGs. This was unexplored territory for us, and since I had the honor of being our very first DM I wanted to create a special and appealing map for our game world. After pouring over hours and hours of tutorials and climbing Photoshop's learning curve, I reached the point where I understood how little I know about this subject. I'm here to learn and get better, as well as soak in the amazing inspiration that comes from the content that is posted on here.

I'm an undergrad student studying Mechanical Engineering in Georgia, United States. Technical details come pretty naturally to me as well as creative endeavors since my mother and grandmother taught me to do art from an early age. I think this is why I find cartography so interesting. There is such a balanced mix of art, technique, and details in this pastime.
