    I more fan of the b&w version. But your colors remind me the maps by Tolkien himself.

    I was definitely going out on a limb by throwing color on it in a medium I've never used before, so to have you say it looks Tolkein-esque is totally an honor, thank you! I'm a fan of both, though the black and white version I would consider cleaner and easier to read. But the results are in, so be it!

    I like the color version; it's a little easier to differentiate terrain types, etc. And it makes it 'live' a little more. Only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the white space around the lettering, but due to the coloring medium I see why you had to do it that way.

    I absolutely agree, Diamond, it's the one downfall of the piece, but now that I know I can maybe find a way to clean it up a bit. Thanks for confirming my suspicions!
